TREK #1 - March 11-17, Koln

   Lake Pointe Church, Rockwall, TX

TREK #2 - June 6-17

TREK #3 - June 20-July 1, Hamburg

   FBC Artesia, New Mexico

TREK #4 - July 14-22, Koln

"I would say that iWitness's Group Trek was a changing point for our students.  The trip, the training, the travel, I couldn't have asked for a better trip.  But beyond that, our time in Germany was redeemed by God and has impacted our group here in Texas.  Our group trek was where God really got a hold of some of our leadership kids, and impacted their lives forever.  Our group went from being a very active group to being a group of students who pray like no one's business.  And that has made a big difference in how we do everything we do here.  For us, it was a life-changing trip."

-Jason Bishop, Bacon Heights,                               Lubbock, TX

"God is concerned for the world, not just where we live. When we as youth ministers can get that into the hearts of our students our whole perspective changes and it will change our ministry. We have to realize that God has a heart for the nations . IWitness is a ministry for today that every student ministry should take advantage of. They will prepare you and your students for overseas travel. Everything we do is applicable to use here in your ministry. The guys at IWitness will serve you in every way possible. Our students that went overseas are now better leaders. They feel more comfortable leading in our student ministry. This trip changed all of us, and we will be going in the future with IWitness Ministries."

    -John Bodine, FBC, Lake Charles

iWitness Group Treks

An iW Group Trek provides:

God-focused missions experience

Theology of missions

Cross-cultural training

On the field discipleship

Great Commission "completion" mindset

Integration of the field experience into on mission mentality back home

Warning:

These trips typically cost around $2000 per person. Yes, we know you can do a much "cheaper" trip somewhere else. However, we are firmly convinced that this experience is more than worth the extra cost involved. No, the parents of your students will not have to pay for this trip. We will help you teach your students how to raise the money needed.

Don't let the cost keep you from allowing your students to join God on mission as they make Him famous among those that don't know Him.

At iWitness, we can not only get you started, we can walk with you through the whole experience. Joining us for one of our Group Treks will be one of the most significant things you do with your students. We know your plate is full with everything else you have going on, and that is why we created the Group Trek. Let us take care of your mission trip this summer, and we believe your students will never see the world the same.

iWitness Group Treks are a great way to take your students to the next level when it comes to missions. All of our group trek teams travel to Europe where they work alongside mission team members as well as local churches to reach out to Europeans as well as immigrants and refugees from across the globe. The teams will focus on church planting and evangelism related work.

Length – 8-10 days.

Team size – Our preference would be to have at least 10 team members (including adults) on each team. However, if you are not going to be able to bring at least 10, we still have a spot for you. In most cases, there is no maximum number that you can bring.
For more information, please email us at brad@igoglobal.org.

iWitness Ministries will provide:

Leadership - iW staff members will train you and your adult leaders to lead your Group Trek. You and your leaders will come alongside missionaries on the field that enjoy leading and working with high school and college students.

Logistics - We will take care of the details of your trip by coordinating your travel, housing, assignment details, etc. We then take all the different costs and combine them into a total cost per student. Included in this cost is an administrative fee for IWM.

Training - We will provide you with on-site training sessions in your hometown prior to your departure (Base Camp). This training will be experiental and will focus on theology of missions, spiritual preparation, logistical instructions, specific assignment training, fund raising strategies, etc.

Integration - We will provide integration training on the field prior to your return home. We also offer an optional integration training session approximately one month after your trip to encourage students to continue to process their experience.

Your Responsibilities include:

Team Selection - Although IWM reserves the right of final approval, you are responsible for selecting your team for the trip. We will work closely with you by supplying you with applications as well as criteria for team members.

Leadership - You are responsible for providing adult leadership for the trip. We desire for this trip to be a training process for your adult leaders as well. In addition, your adult leaders will be responsible for team discipline situations that may occur.

Communication - We will do our best to communicate consistently and clearly throughout the preparation process, and we ask that you do the same. This will begin as we select your project assignment and location.

Encourage your students to take the iGo challenge.

The iGo Challenge is a 10-day self-paced Bible study through the Book of Acts. Tell your students about it. You can even go through it with them.

What if my youth group isn't ready for a group trek? Are there any other options?

YES! Perhaps the best thing you can do is encourage one of your best students, or maybe 2-3 or your core students, to participate on one of our Xtreme Journeys. Once these students return from this experience, you will see the others in your group catch the vision for global missions. Send your best students with us this summer, and get ready to take a whole group overseas the following year.
