Towards the beginning of the trip I had become discouraged, believing some of the enemy's lies about how I was useless and Father was not working. I started walking to PR and listen to Father and I was directed into the path of two people. It was all Father! To make a long story short, I ended up going with them to hang out and, after lots of small talk, I felt the need to mention Father. It turns out they were strong C's and it was a beautiful reunion which Father used to show me how He was working! I became great friends with them and was able to hook them up with some new family members. From the beginning it has been “overwhelming” and Father has answered all of my prayers revolving around that word. He truly overwhelmed me, He truly overwhelmed China! He is overwhelming!

…afterwards we went back to campus and sat in the stadium seating (concrete slabs facing the basketball courts) to talk. I let her read John 3:16 first, but when we started she just couldn't get enough so she kept on reading. She read most of John 3. She would read in English then in Chinese then would explain it to me to let me know that she understood. I really didn't do anything. I had to explain some, but not too much. I then directed her to Romans 5, 6, and 8... where she read the entire chapter of each. She wanted to keep on reading, but I asked her if we could go back to my dorm room so I could get another smaller booklet for her to read that might explain a few things even better than what I could tell her. We went back and she sat on my bed and read an English/Chinese "pamphlet" that I had. At the end of it I asked her if she understood everything. She said yes and I asked her if she believed it was truth. She said "yes, I believe, and I accept JC into my life." I was floored. I didn't expect anything like this to happen today. I didn't know what to say next b/c I was so stunned by Father. So I asked her to come back outside with me and sit in the stadium and we would read some more. I used the verses listed in the pamphlet, but she always read so much more than I told her. She really ate it all up. She ended up reading John 1, 5 and 15, 1 Peter 5, 2 Peter 1, Matt. 4, and some in 2 Cor. 13. It was crazy!! At 6pm I had to stop her b/c I needed to go take a shower before our English department graduation party at 7:30pm. I asked her if she truly believed and understood the risks, etc. She did and I told her she was my sister b/c she believed - what a smile she had on her face!

Well, we are all ready to move here for good, and have already fallen in love with the city, university and people.  The next two weeks we are teaching in the university (all teaching our own classes) and we have split up into pairs to go to different villages during the week. Most are playing sports in the afternoon, and at night there always seems to be another department party for us to grace with our presence and show off our singing and dancing skills to everyone.  Tomorrow all the girls are going to the skating rink here in town with ALL 5 million of our friends.  Already doors opening to share.  It's exciting.  Father is up to something crazy here, and I cannot believe we get to see it and be a part of it.

We are like superstars over here. We have attended a random wedding, eaten with the dean of the college, and been in a citywide flyer. The English corner went amazing last night, and conversations have already opened up. Everyone is extremely helpful at the college. One of the national English teachers has really adopted us on campus. We think he may know Father, but we are not positive. Many open doors. The scenery is also beautiful. We went up to a village yesterday, and a teacher at a small village met father. The M's have been PRing for her for a long time, and everyone was rejoicing! We were disappointed at first because the village had a holiday so the school was not in session. But without the holiday the M would not have been able to speak with her. A massive appointment setup by father.

We looked at JC's parable about the seed and the sower…it was a crazy lesson in that I quickly realizedI didn't know how to translate any of it into Chinese and so I stumbled and tripped my way through the whole thing and by the end was left wondering if ANYONE understood what JC was trying to get across…Father spoke to my heart and told me to go for it. I stood up and told the group that if any of them were ready to stand for JC – to trust their lives to him – to turn from sin and find forgiveness – to be the good soil – that they could stand with me…even as the last words were coming off my tongue J had stood and K…AND A AND D!!!!! I was outwardly speechless for a moment…inwardly screaming praises!!!! I PRed and dismissed the group and then A and D, with K and J as witnesses, PRed to ask JC into their lives…afterwards we all hugged and jumped around the room together!

I met a girl named Frank and got to spend a lot of time getting to know her. While she was still finishing up school we went shopping around town, ate in the Cantine together, and hung out in the dorms. Sometimes it felt really hard to find time and a place to be alone with one or two girls, because there were always people everywhere. During my quite time one morning I spent a lot of time praying about this, and to just be given the opportunity to be able to talk about Father. That afternoon I met Frank and Pie (another girl I got to spend time with) and they took me to a restaurant I had never been to before. We walk in and there is no one in there besides the owners. They took us upstairs into a room with one table and then shut the door. It was just us three girls! Thank you Jesus. I got to share a little about what I believed and why I believed it, and what sin was and why Jesus came. It was all Him! I gave them each a track and they asked me some questions for a while. The next day I got to go to Frank's hometown and village. On the three-hour bus ride there she brought up Father's name and she had the track with her. I gave her a New Testament and she was so happy to get it. Father gave me the opportunity to plant seeds and it was a great experience I won't ever forget.
