Lance Shumake

Lance Shumake joined the team at iGo in the fall of 2000. Previously Lance had served as Director of Youth Ministries for the Indiana Baptist Convention. In addition, Lance has been speaking to students, student ministers, and adults in various settings for the past 14 years. Lance also serves as an elder and co-teaches one of the Adult Bible Fellowships at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall.

















 

Brad Cardwell

Brad serves as Vice President of Operations, overseeing the partnership trips and the application process for iGo. He joined iGo Global after 10 years of leading youth ministries at churches in Texas and Alabama . Brad serves as an elder and co-teaches a Bible Fellowship at his home church, Crosspoint Fellowship, in Greenville, Texas, and enjoys speaking to students and adults about daily discipleship and what it means to live an “on mission” lifestyle. Brad and his wife Christi live in Caddo Mills, Texas with two of God's greatest blessing – their daughter, Lillie (born in 2003) and son, Hank (born in 2007)

Kent Jones

Kent Jones serves as the Vice President responsible for Development at iGo Global. Kent joined the staff of iGo in January 2003. In addition to his duties with iGO, Kent also leads The Go Foundation. iGO launched the Go Foundation in 2003 in order to help connect students and adults with strategic mission opportunities and organizations. The Go Foundation also helps fund mission endeavors through scholarships for participants.

Kent and his wife, Tammy, live in McKinney, Texas with their sons, Brooks and Brayden. They also have a dog named Mo.






Aaron Clayton

Aaron came to iGo in the spring of 2003 and oversees Base Camps, team leader training, and developing partnerships overseas. Aaron’s heart is for seeing people embrace the gospel and the community of the local church, and he is particularly passionate about developing strong, godly leaders. Aaron and his wife Charity live near Cedar Hill, TX, with their son Sam and lead the college ministry at Hillcrest Baptist Church.

I didn’t learn the end of the alphabet in cursive or the multiplication table for 12 because I moved and the two schools were not on the same schedule

a glass of sweet tea, followed quickly by tender chicken fajitas smothered in cheese with homemade totillas, guac, sour cream, rice, and black beans

overall: Kazakhstan because they gave me my son and he lived there for almost 2 years; place I most want to return to: Laos

Ky Martin

After interning for iGo as a college student for three years, Ky became a full-time staff member in 2005. As State Partnership Director, Ky's responsibilities include coordinating the Falls Creek GO Students trip, and overseeing the processes and communications of all other state partnership trips. Additionally, Ky often speaks at church events such as youth camps and Disciple Nows.

Ky received a Psychology degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. He and his wife, Emily, live in Mesquite, Texas and attend Lake Pointe Church where they lead an Adult Bible Fellowship.

Q:  Who are your top three favorite authors?
John Piper, John Stott, and John Owen. I guess I just like to ready books by guys named John.

Playing basketball, woodworking, and hunting when I can.

I played linebacker in high school. That's what happens when you live in a 2A town.

Not sure on my all time favorite, but I have recently become a big fan of O.A.R.

Chicken Quesadillas from Abuelos.

Tokyo, Japan. The people are easy to talk to, and it's just a cool city.

Crystal Meeker

Crystal has worked with students for many years alongside her parents at Miracle Farm Boys Ranch as well as, through local churches and activities. She is passionate about seeing students serve internationally and catch a glimpse of God's desire for the nations. Crystal joined iGo Global in February of 2006 and coordinates the JSI program.

Crystal is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University home of the fightin' Texas Aggies! In her free time she loves to spend time with her two sisters and numerous cousins playing board games, singing and baking cupcakes. Check out her cupcake blog.

Jonathan Roberts (Jay)

Jay joined the iGo team in 2007 as a summer intern. He now serves at iGo as a graphic designer. Outside of iGo Jay is involved in The Tree College Ministry and 1865 Continued.





















Jami Lee Gainey

After serving overseas with iGo three different summers, Jami Lee joined the iGo team in January 2009. She is currently helping lead and coordinate high school students to Tokyo, Japan.  Jami’s passion is to constantly be involved in God’s heart for the nations, whether through going, sending, giving, or interceding.  Her desire is that students would understand and become a part of God’s Kingdom work in making Himself famous.

Jami is a proud graduate of Howard Payne University and is currently doing graduate work at Baylor University.

She and her husband, Nick, live in Mesquite and are members of First Baptist Church in Rockwall.  Nick is on staff there as Associate Minister of Music, and Jami helps lead a small group of high school girls.

Writing, Sports (mainly basketball) and enjoying coffee shops

Q:  What is one interesting fact about your childhood?
I loved The Wizard of Oz so much that when my Dad bought my first dog, I named it ToTo, even though it was a Black Lab.  I was five.

The Nick Gainey Band (Yes, I’m biased.)

Q:  What is the first thing you want to eat when you return from an overseas trip?
A Whataburger with the best fancy KETCHUP.

Q:  What is your favorite country (or city) that you have been to and why?
I really enjoyed Lucerne, Switzerland.  It was a beautiful, little country city in the middle of a green mountainous region surrounded by waterfalls…so peaceful.  I’d love to go back someday.

Q:  Is there any particular sports team that you follow and root for?
Any team that Brett Favre is a part of…he is truly a great athlete and competitor. 

Q:  What is your favorite book?
More like series…Harry Potter.  If you haven’t read them – you should. 

Q:  What is number 1 on your bucket list?
I don’t know if this really answers this question, but I’d love to be able to publish a book that simply tells the stories of others all around the world – stories that wouldn’t get told unless someone was able to tell it for them.    



Sarah Arnett

Sarah joined the iGo family in December 2008. She graduated from the East Texas Baptist University with a major in Religion and a Missions emphasis.

Sarah and her husband Matt currently reside in Frisco, but will be moving to Pasadena, California in August. Matt will start seminary at Fuller Theological Seminiary and Sarah will continue to work with iGoGlobal.

Sarah currently works with the students from Kansas & Nebraska, preparing and sending them.

Emily Martin

Emily recently joined our staff, moving from Missouri, where she was on the Student Ministry Team at the Missouri Baptist Convention. Emily’s responsibilities at iGo include overseeing our communication with students, parents, and supporters, as well as assisting with various design projects.

Emily received a degree in Communication and Graphic Design from the University of Missouri. She and her husband, Ky, live in Mesquite, TX and attend Lake Pointe Church where they lead an Adult Bible Fellowship.

I like painting, reading, baking, and shopping for bargains.

I spent my summers working on my uncle’s dairy farm. That’s right...I milked cows.

I am incredibly indecisive, so these questions are really hard. I like pretty much any kind of music but techno. I really like Snow Patrol, OAR, Coldplay, U2, Maroon 5....

Chassidy Rogers

Chassidy Rogers joined the iGo team in the summer of 2009 after graduating from East Texas Baptist University. Chassidy graduated from ETBU with a Bachelors of Arts in English and a minor in Religion. At iGo, Chassidy helps out with collegiate mobilization and is the trip coordinator for Super Summer Global Extreme. Chassidy longs to see students passionate about making Christ famous, both here and overseas, and wants to help them use their passions and gifts for the Father’s global Kingdom work.

Chassidy lives in Garland, Texas, with her husband John. John works at Dallas Baptist University as a transfer recruiter, and is currently pursuing his Masters of Arts in Theology. Chassidy and John are members of the First Baptist Church of Rockwall. In her free time she enjoys singing, reading, spending time with family and friends, and drinking sweet tea.

Allison Aycock

Allison Aycock joined the iGO team after receiving a bachelor’s degree in English from Hardin-Simmons University in May of 2009. She first went with iGo as a high school student, serving on an evangelism team in Tokyo, Japan. The summer after she graduated from Northwest High School, Allison served as an iGo summer intern. During college, Allison spent her summers leading iGo teams to East Asia.

Allison serves as an assistant trip coordinator, handling the logistics of the Falls Creek GO Students partnership. Allison is also involved with volunteer coordination and recruiting.

I really enjoy reading and photography. I love music!

Almost every time I got on a bike as a child I ended up either getting hurt or hurting someone else.

My favorite place I have been to would have to be a small city in East Asia; I fell in love with the people and absolutely love everything about the culture.

I really like baseball and grew up watching the Rangers play.
